Butula boys high school Busia closed indefinitely as student threaten to burn school property

According to the sources, the students allegedly threatened to burn their dormitories and dining hall if they wouldn’t be allowed to go home.

Reportedly this was after several letters through the feedback box were sent to the school administration.

The management gave the learners 20 minutes to vacate the school compound and go home.

Butula boys join the many schools that have sent their students home following unrest and dormitories.

The school heads had earlier complained of the removal of sports and co-curricular activities, midterm break, and a demanding curriculum as the major causes of students unrest forcing the government to give a half term break from 19th -23rd November.

However, students in some schools had complained of mistreatment from the school administration, poor dieting, and midterm break. What are your thoughts about this?
