Former President Mwai Kibaki Celebrates His Birthday With Family in a Wonderful Photo

The former President Mwai Kibaki was celebrating his 90th birthday today 15th November 2021. His family including Jimmy and his wife Caroline with the daughter Judy Kibaki came together to have a family celebration which was marked by the cutting of the cake. The event event which was held at his home in Muthaiga, showed that indeed the family was happy that God had taken care of their Dad who is now in 90s.

Everyone in the country who was born when Mwai Kibaki was the President really enjoyed his fruits. The major success that has been celebrated up to date is the introduction of free primary education. In addition, Mwai Kibaki was such a polite and a funny character who will always crack jokes everytime he could give a speech. Many people were always willing to listen to his amusing speech which was full of amusing words. Leaders and Kenyans flooded social media with Happy birthday messages as they wish the former President long life and good health.

Some reposted his funny clips whenever he was giving a speech.Others remembered the 2002 general elections when he got accident in Machakos just 24 days to elections. On this day, it is reported that Raila Odinga drove him to the hospital and therefore he was attended to until the campaign period was over. He did not campaign any more but still won the elections making him the 3rd President of the Republic of Kenya.

Deputy President William Ruto wrote, “Happy 90th birthday the third President, Mwai Kibaki. Your legacy lives on.” The former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko remembered Mwai Kibaki’s regime as characterized by infrastructural development and introduction of free education. One of his favourite quote that Mike Sonko recalled was, ”Leadership is a privilege from God to serve and better lives of other people and not an opportunity to satisfy personal greed.”
