Bad news to students as Magoha and Matiangi give new direction

Education Secretary Professor George Magoha said it was possible to return packages to schools to stop the spread of unrest seen in many schools across the country.

Cabinet Secretary George Magoha was joined by Home Secretary Fred Matiangi, General Secretary Susan Mochache and Chief Executive Officer Maureen Mbaka.

Also present at the launch were members of parliament: Kitutu Chache, the Honorable Richard Onyonka, MP for North Dagoreti, the Honorable Simba Arati, and the MP for South Mugirango, the Honorable Sylvanus Osoro.

Violence has been reported in schools across the country in recent weeks.
