Tragedy in Kisumu as bus crashes into a lorry
A deadly accident has Reportedly left one person dead after a bus belonging to the Acacia premier group allegedly rammed or rather crashed into a Lorry in Kisumu town. According to the reports given by Ntv, it has been revealed that Bus was heading to Kisumu before the driver Lost control of his vehicle.
Further reports given by a reliable source of information has revealed that several passengers who sustained different degrees of injuries have been rushed to the hospital where they are currently receiving medical treatment. Sadly, one of the passengers is reported to have died on the spot.
This is happening at the same time when the National Transport and Safety Authority has called upon kenyans urging them to make sure they follow all the traffic rules and regulations in order to reduce the increasing number of accidents in the country.
According to the reports given by the police NTSA, they claimed that the number of accidents that occured in this year alone has already surpassed the number of accidents that occured in the past two years and for this reasons, kenyans have been urged to make sure they stay vigilant especially during holiday seasons when most accidents tend to occur.
While reacting to this incident, kenyans who took to their different social media accounts to express their opinions and suggestions on the matter have called upon the inspector General of police, Hillary Mutyambai to conduct an investigation in order to find out why there is an increasing number of rogue police officers.
According to the reports given most Kenyans, they claimed that the main cause of accidents in the country is bad roads along with rogue corrupt traffic police officers who often get bribed into letting rogue drivers operate all over the country with or without blemishes.
