Three people confirmed dead after inhaling petrol fumes after they were siphoning petrol from a tanker

Kenyans indeed never learn from the worst old experiences. Kenyans have developed a habit of taking advantage of incidents to benefit themselves without considering the dangers involved. Today three people have lost their lives after they rushed to to siphon fuel from an overturned tanker. The three died of inhaling petrol fumes while they were siphoning the petrol.


According to the report from the police from Kipkaren in Lugari sub county where the incident occurred, the three deceased were among the local residents who rushed to the scene along Eldoret Malaba road to siphon the fuel. This happened just before the police officers arrived to disperse them from the dangerous scene.
Kenyans have been risking their lives when such incidents happens and as a result, so many people have lost their lives. Molo similar incident in 2009 January which killed up to 113 people and left over 200 people with serious injuries should remind Kenyans of how dangerous such accidents are.
